23 season wrap up

THE BOUTIQUE
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Maison Oui has remained a buzzing bridal boutique throughout the year!

Maison Oui Boutique

OUR BRIDES
We have seen so many of our incredible Maison Oui brides walk the walk this year and be wed in our beautiful gowns. We have received the most generous thank-you gifts and been blessed to browse the wedding galleries of countless brides that once stepped into our humble boutique with butterflies in their stomachs and anticipation coursing through their veins.

We have seen an emergence of second looks (and some brides even opting for a third)! We are loving how creative our brides have been with styled engagement shoots that look fresh from magazines! Chanel is one of our many beautiful brides that showed off the charming Belle Mini dress by Oui The Label for a fun, Melbourne-based engagement shoot. Chanel inspired the creation of our Olive Mini dress which she paired with the Perla Sleeves for her bridal shower at the Botanical Gardens on a perfectly sunny day. It was the Marigold Gown that captured her heart for the official ceremony, which she followed up with another look, celebrating the night away in the Iris Gown for the reception.

STYLED SHOOTS
One of many styled shoots our labels took part in this year was the Embrace - Cali Dreamin Shoot. It was photographer and creative director Remi Jordan who led this styled photoshoot full of colour, vibrancy and fruity fun! The shoot involved a brilliant team of creative collaborators and featured Oui The Label gowns Marigold, Blanc and Utopia.

Our gowns have been featured in a number of styled shoots from other stockists and incredible boutiques such as Paperswan in New Zealand who continue to capture incredible imagery of our pieces.

Our labels have collaborated with an array of industry professionals to create stunning visuals that mesmerize both modern and traditional romantics. These shoots include the incredible work of Photographer Aly Marie, Ruffles and Bells stylists, Tremella Botanicals, Emily Moran MUA, etc.

It was another Tales of Romance shoot that saw Casablanca by Cherie By Oui splashed across an English Vogue edition, with other stunning shots from this photoshoot evidenced below. Alongside Vogue, our labels have been featured in many other prestigious and popular publications both in print and online, such as Hello May, The Lane, Easy Weds, WedVibes and more.

EVENTS
Both labels appeared in the One Fine Day wedding fair in April, gaining traction and admiration from a number of brides-to-be. It was only a few months later that we begun working with stylist Kellie Nobes to create a custom gown for Emma Shepherd's Brownlow debut, attending as the partner of Essendon Football Club player Mason Redman. The gown incorporated aspects of both past and future Oui The Label pieces, the skirt drawing from Viola and the top piece previewing the (at the time) unreleased Aeon gown, transitioning perfectly to the new Adamantine Collection which launched in New York Bridal Fashion week shortly after. The success of the custom Brownlow gown inspires us to collaborate on more red carpet pieces in 2024, which we look forward to with great anticipation. We are also thrilled to confirm we will be returning to New York for the Bridal Fashion Week in October 2024.
