New York

This October, Maison Oui Collective packed up our most fabulous gowns and headed straight for the iconic streets of New York City for the One Fine Day Bridal Market and let’s just say, it was an absolute whirlwind of glamour, good vibes, and unforgettable moments. We were there to showcase the latest collections from Oui The Label and Sienricher, and as expected, New York welcomed us with open arms, chic street style, and plenty of champagne!

The Buzz of One Fine Day: A Showcase Like No Other

From the moment we stepped into the showroom, it was go-go-go! The energy was electric, with stockists from all over the US, Canada, and as far-flung as Europe, eagerly checking out our newest collections. The Maison Oui booth was a buzzing hub of activity, where stockists and boutique owners swooned over the latest creations from Oui The Label and Sienricher. From minimalistic chic to empowered elegance, our gowns had everyone talking.

This season, we’re especially excited about our bridal minis and mix-and-match separates, which offer a fresh take on modern bridal fashion. The bridal minis are perfect for the contemporary bride looking to make a statement, combining fun and sophistication. Meanwhile, our mix-and-match separates empower brides to express their unique style, allowing for endless combinations that range from romantic to edgy. There’s something about New York that always brings out the best, and this time was no exception!

Our team worked tirelessly, yet it never felt like work when surrounded by such excitement. It was all about creating connections with potential stockists and strengthening our relationships with the amazing partners we already work with. There’s something so special about seeing familiar faces, our loyal stockists from across the globe, who joined us for celebratory dinners, where we laughed, clinked glasses, and toasted to all the amazing things in store.

Team Maison Oui: Celebrating with Style

Let’s talk about our dream team! Maison Oui knows how to celebrate, and this trip was the perfect opportunity to bring our work-family closer together. Ruby was on a mission for her ultimate vintage Fendi bag (a search that still continues!), while Charles could hardly contain his excitement as he eyed up all the designer boutiques, his boujee radar in full effect. Jen shopped 'till she dropped and Bella? Well, she had her thrift game on point, exploring the hidden gems in SoHo and coming back with unique vintage finds. The shopping was epic, the laughs were endless, and the memories, well, they’re priceless. Mindy, on the other hand, embarked on an epic urban odyssey, strolling from Katz's Deli to the 9/11 Memorial, conquering the Brooklyn Bridge, and getting lost in SOHO—only to accidentally trek back to Times Square. She racked up enough steps to rival a marathon runner, all while collecting souvenirs that could fill a small store. Who knew sightseeing could double as an extreme cardio workout?

7And when we weren’t hustling in the showroom, we were sipping champagne in the trendiest spots, enjoying team dinners that felt more like a scene from Gossip Girl than a work event. Rooftop cocktails with city skyline views and chic dinners where the champagne flowed. Maison Oui knows how to mix business with pleasure like no other. Every dinner was a chance to wind down and reflect on the incredible reception our collections were receiving.

Sienricher Sisters: Queens of Elegance

Speaking of fabulous, it was such a joy to spend time with the ever-stylish Sienricher sisters, Yufen and Annie. These two powerhouses not only brought their designs to the bridal market but showed us how to wear them with unparalleled grace. Yufen, the head designer, and Annie, the director, made quite the entrance, rocking their own creations like the true queens they are. Watching these two women, who pour so much passion and artistry into Sienricher, strut through the showroom was inspiring, to say the least. Their presence brought such elegance and sophistication to the event, and it’s clear why their designs are beloved by brides around the world.

Exploring the Big Apple: Fashion, Fun, and Food

It wasn’t all business though! In true Sex and the City fashion, we took full advantage of being in New York. From the moment we touched down, there was no shortage of fun. We wandered through Central Park, where the crisp autumn air felt magical, strolled through SoHo’s cobbled streets for a bit of high-end shopping and thrifting, and indulged in New York’s famous food scene. We went full New Yorker with hotdogs from a street cart (because how could we not?), classic slices from Joe’s Pizza, and even a trip to Raising Cane’s. Oh, and a quick stop at the M&M store in Times Square to grab a few colourful souvenirs. Every meal felt like a mini-celebration—delicious, indulgent, and so quintessentially New York.

Unforgettable Moments in the City That Never Sleeps

Our time in New York was the perfect blend of business and pleasure. We were there to showcase the newest bridal collections, but we made sure to carve out plenty of moments to explore, indulge, and take in everything the city had to offer. From Central Park strolls to late-night champagne toasts, Maison Oui made the most of every second.

As we packed up our I ♥ NY shirts and bid the city goodbye, we couldn’t help but feel immense gratitude. The One Fine Day Bridal Market was a huge success, and New York gave us the perfect backdrop to celebrate what Maison Oui does best—create stunning, sophisticated bridalwear that captures hearts everywhere. Until next time, New York. We’re already dreaming of our return!

With love,
